Carolyn Young – Associate
Carolyn Young practices in the areas of Construction & Surety Law and Civil Litigation. She represents clients from all divisions of the construction industry, from subcontractors to property owners, and handles a diverse range of construction litigation issues, including breach of contract, unfair business practices, delay and disruption claims, and women’s and minority business issues.
A tireless advocate for her clients and a dedicated problem solver, Carolyn focuses on successfully resolving disputes in the most cost-effective manner possible, whether it be through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or trial.
Carolyn has given presentations to construction trade groups and professional organizations, including a seminar for the Connecticut Subcontractor’s Association (April 2017) entitled “Update on SBE/MBE Set Asides and CHRO Requirements.”
Carolyn is admitted to the state and federal courts of Connecticut and the state courts of New York.
